Contestants Eligibility: unique talents in singing, dancing, delivering recitations, playing musical instruments, Chinese folk arts, acrobatics and etc. Regardless of your race, age or nationality, please join us to bring joy and laughter to our families, colleagues and friends, and let us share the fun with people from all over the world!
Competition Procedures
Step 1: For the initial screening, we will take an online approach during the epidemic where a panel of renowned American experts will score and vote on the entries by watching and reviewing the video entries submitted by our contestants.
Step 2: The top 300 Spring Festival Gala reserve stars selected from the initial screening will enter the regional competition.
Step 3: The top 50 Spring Festival Gala reserve stars of the regional competition will receive the admission tickets to the Final of the “I Want to Perform on the Spring Festival Gala—Global Talent Competition”. They will attend the China, USA Seattle, New York, Los Angeles Regional Competition Sites—Spring Festival Gala Stars Competition for the “2022 World Chinese Spring Festival Gala—Rooted in China” with the admission tickets. The prizes for the China, USA Seattle, New York, Los Angeles Regional Competition Sites—Spring Festival Gala Stars Competition are as
follows:
First Gold Prize: 1 winner, US$10,000
Second Gold Prize: 2 winners, US$5,000 each
Third Gold Prize: 3 winners, US$2,000 each
First Silver Prize: 1 winner, US$3,000
Second Silver Prize: 2 winners, US$2,000 each
Third Silver Prize: 3 winners, US$1,000 each
The above winners will be presented with prizes and trophies by Mr. Tete Weston, President of the US-China Global Economic Association, Mr. Stephen, Director of the Preparation Office of the Global Hollywood Project,and Professor Hexia Chen, a music educator for autism rehabilitation, and with Certificates of Honor by Ms. Sabrina Weston , the Secretary General of US-CHINA GLOBAL ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION.
Winners who have been awarded with prizes, trophies and honorary certificates of the China, USA Seattle, New York, Los Angeles Regional Competition Sites—Spring Festival Gala Stars Competition will attend the “I Want to Perform on the Spring Festival Gala: 2022 World Chinese Spring Festival Gala—Rooted in China” to showcase their talents on the grand stage.
The top 10 selected talents from the Spring Festival Gala Stars Competition will receive a 2-week period of professional tailored coaching and training as well as packaging and rehearsals, including program selection, costume requirements, and stage effect, by a team of experts and advisors from the US-China Global Economic Association, the Hollywood Cultural Media Group and Professor Hexia Chen. At last, we will collectively register and recommend our angel lineup to perform on the grand stage of the “I Want to Perform on the Spring Festival Gala: 2022 World Chinese Spring Festival Gala—Rooted in China”!
We will invite world-renowned media to promote and report this grand event of the Spring Festival Gala Stars Competition.
We will have real-time coverage for the lucky stars who have won the tickets to the “I Want to Perform on the Spring Festival Gala”. This event will also be live-streamed on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and synchronous broadcasted through cable TV in Seattle, Washington state. At the same time, we will make extra efforts to increase the exposure and popularity of our talents of the Spring Festival Gala Stars Competition via major Chinese and foreign newspapers and the China News Network.
